YAPS x Foot Locker – 1 Year Anniversary Recap

On June 29th, we marked one year of YAPS , a community born from early morning park sessions, now backed by brands like Foot Locker, Red Bull Australia, and Push Gummies.

Held at condition Southbank, the event brought together over 100 athletes, supporters, and creators for an afternoon of bodyweight competition, culture, and connection.

We kicked off with a group run, then went straight into high energy challenges including pushups, pullups, dips, muscleups, and plank holds, with separate divisions for men and women. The top overall scorers walked away with $750 cash prizes, plus giveaways from our partners.

From the music and crowd energy to the effort from every single competitor this was more than just a comp. It was a statement: YAPS is here to stay.

This was our first major event and it won’t be the last.
